About us
HOPE AGAIN DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION (HADEO) is a registered non-governmental and nonpartisan organization. It aims to address the unique issues and challenges faced by farmers, youth, and women.
It was first established as a Community -Based organization in 2004 under the name Hope Again Development Foundation (HADEFO). The foundation provided organized community base assistance to the most vulnerable persons in Soroti, Ngora and Buvuma districts since 2004.
Following increased service delivery and demand for services, the Community-based organization was incorporated into an indigenous Non-Governmental Organization on 28th April 2023 as Hope Again Development Organization (HADEO) with registration number (7221) by the Uganda Government National Bureau of Non-governmental Organizations.
HADEO Uganda is part of HADEFO Netherlands, with which it closely cooperates in fundraising for implementing its activities. It administers both humanitarian and development activities without regard to the political, ethnic, or religious ideologies of those whom it supports.
HADEO works in strategic partnerships with international and local organizations, corporate bodies and local government in the implementation of its activities. HADEO is currently working in Soroti City and Ngora district, and its program activities cover food security, economic development, primary health, education, sexual health, and disaster preparedness and response.
With its people-centered approach, seeking to empower people’s lives to self-reliance, HADEO has implemented and completed different projects in the districts of Soroti and Ngora, and Soroti City, including healthcare and emergency relief, education both formal and informal, WASH, agriculture and reforestation, economic development, especially through the establishment of FAL group members SACCO, capacity building and support to vulnerable persons include PWDs, support orphans with scholastic materials and education bursaries among others.

MISSION: Hadeo exists to restore hope and build resilient communities by fighting poverty and suffering to foster sustainable change through empowerment and partnerships.
